Itinerary:
- Meet at Surabaya (airport, hotel, or train station).
- Drive to Mount Bromo area (approx. 3-4 hours).
- Overnight stay at a hotel near Mount Bromo to prepare for the early morning adventure.
- Early morning departure for Penanjakan viewpoint to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Mount Bromo.
- Descend to the Sea of Sand and trek or ride a horse to the crater.
- Return to the hotel for breakfast and check-out.
- Visit a traditional Tengger village to learn about their unique culture and way of life.
- Continue the journey to the Banyuwangi area for an overnight stay near Ijen Crater.
After breakfast, your day begins with a visit to a traditional Batik workshop, where local artisans will guide you through the step-by-step process of creating Banyuwangi-style Batik. You’ll get hands-on experience and learn about the cultural meaning behind each motif.
Next, we visit a coconut palm sugar workshop, where you’ll see how natural palm sugar is made—without chemicals or preservatives—using traditional techniques passed down for generations.
We continue to Gandrung Terakota, an open-air cultural park dedicated to Banyuwangi iconic Gandrung dancers.
Enjoy a relaxing coffee break surrounded by terracotta statues and lush landscapes.
Our cultural journey continues with a visit to a traditional village, where locals maintain their ancestral customs, architecture, and hospitality. A local home-cooked lunch will be served, prepared by the village community.
Afterwards, return to your hotel and enjoy a free evening.
