Itinerary:
Day 01 :
Arrival in Surabaya - Mount Bromo Area
- Pick up at Surabaya Airport/Train Station/Hotel.
- Drive to the Mount Bromo area (approximately 3-4 hours).
- Check-in at hotel Bromo area.
- Free time to rest or enjoy the village atmosphere around the hotel.
Day 02 :
Sunrise at Mount Bromo - Journey to Ijen Crater Area
- At 04:00 AM, and hike to the rim of Bromo crater to watch the sunrise above the active caldera. If conditions allow, you can also see the glowing red lava inside the crater.
- We then head to a viewpoint to enjoy the full panorama of mount Bromo, mount Batok, mount Widodaren, and Semeru Volcano.
- After sunrise, explore the Bromo crater and the Whispering Sands.
- Return to the hotel for breakfast and check-out.
- Drive to the Ijen Crater area (6-7 hours).
- Check-in at accommodation near Ijen and rest.
Day 03 :
Morning Trek at Ijen Crater - Transfer to Bali
- Early morning wake-up call (3:00 AM) for a hike to Ijen Crater (1.5-2 hours trekking).
- Witness the breathtaking views of the turquoise crater lake, surrounded by dramatic volcanic scenery.
- Observe traditional sulfur mining activities, where miners carry loads of 60-70 kg of sulfur manually from the crater to the base.
- Take in the unique atmosphere of Ijen natural and cultural heritage.
- Descend back to the base and return to the hotel for breakfast.
- Check-out and transfer to Ketapang Harbor.
- Cross to Bali via Bali Strait (ferry ride, approximately 1 hour).
- Drop off at your destination in Bali (e.g., Ubud, Kuta, or other locations).
